Area of Girona

The area of Girona is in the north-east of Catalonia. This province has sea, and it's also comunicate with the Pirineus. It's the smallest province in Catalonia.

• La Força Vella
• It's a wall that was built by the Romans in the first century BC. It was the first area of the city.

• La Catedral
• It was built between the XI and XVIII centuries , the cloister and the tower are Romanesque and the facade and the stairs are of baroque style.

• La Basílica de Sant Feliu
• It was the only cathedral to the tenth century , is one of the most important Gothic building. This monument has a very important tower.

• Ski resorts
• Girona has a very important ski resorts. There are La Molina, Masella, Vall de Núria and Vallter 2000.
